Quercetin is a polyphenolic flavonoid known to exhibit cellular and immune-moderating activity. Research suggests that quercetin acts as a SIRT1 inducer to promote cellular regulation and autophagy, the natural process of degradation and recycling of cellular components to promote renewal.
